Germany's largest airline, Lufthansa, will reduce its administrative staff by 4,000 people by 2030 through automation and digitalization, according to a press release.
The company hopes to increase profitability and optimize its business strategy through these cuts. It also plans to expand its fleet and strengthen cooperation with German low-cost airline Eurowings and cargo carriers.
In this way, Lufthansa plans to increase its adjusted free cash flow to EUR 2.5 billion annually between 2028 and 2030.
