Israeli authorities have signed a contract with the American corporation Boeing for the supply of 5,000 precision-guided bombs worth a total of 289 million USD, Reuters reported, citing its sources.
The new agreement is not directly related to the current US-Israeli military operation against Iran. Deliveries under the new contract should be completed within the next three years.
These precision-guided bombs can be launched more than 40 miles from their target.
In 2025, the Pentagon awarded Boeing a contract worth 8.6 billion dollars for the production and supply of F-15 fighter jets, which will then be delivered to the Israeli Air Force.
