The first flight on the line Riga-Sofia-Riga was realized today. It will be operated three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) by the national carrier of Latvia – airBaltic. This is also the first Baltic destination in the portfolio of Sofia Airport.

Latvia is in the Schengen area and passengers will be able to quickly go through all checks.
airBaltic flies to over 70 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The airline also has the youngest fleet in Europe, which consists of one of the greenest commercial aircraft in the world – Airbus A220-300.
