Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud announced today that a total of seven new oil and natural gas fields have been discovered in the eastern part of the kingdom.
This was announced by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), quoted by Reuters and dariknews.bg.
The deposits were discovered by the Saudi corporation "Saudi Aramco" (Saudi Aramco). They include three oil fields and four natural gas fields.
Saudi Arabia owns about 17 percent of all proven oil reserves in the world, according to the website of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
