From September 27 to October 3, the organization of traffic on the Hemus Highway in the Sofia region will be temporarily changed for the purpose of cleaning trenches and laying markings, dariknews.bg reported.
From September 27 /Saturday/ to October 3 /Friday/, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the section from 47 to 53 km of the Hemus Highway, in the direction of Varna, lawn mowing and ditch cleaning will be carried out. During the implementation of the activities, entry into the emergency lane, where the necessary equipment will be located, will be gradually limited. Traffic will move into the active and speed lanes without restrictions.
From September 27 to September 29 /Monday/, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., traffic on the section from 416 to 419 km of the "Hemus" motorway in both directions will be carried out in the active lanes, and passing in overtaking lanes will be limited. The change in the organization of traffic on the section in the Varna region is for the construction of a "window" in the median strip of the motorway. It is necessary to ensure the passage from one lane to another, in connection with the upcoming repair work on the asphalt pavement in the section.
From September 28 /Sunday/ to October 3 /Friday/, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., drivers are required to drive with increased caution from 14 to 71 km of the motorway “Hemus“, in the lane towards Varna, due to marking. In this regard, traffic in the active lane will be gradually and partially restricted and traffic will move to the free lanes.
From September 28 /Sunday/ to October 3 /Friday/, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., drivers need to drive with increased caution on the section of road I-8 from the connection with the “Trakia“ Motorway /at 89 km/ to the “Pobit Kamak“ area of the village of Novi Han /at 103 km/. Marking will be installed on the section. During the implementation of the activities, traffic will be gradually and partially restricted.
The “Road Infrastructure“ Agency appeals to drivers to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, to not undertake risky overtaking, which endanger the safety of all other travelers.
