The Parliament will make a third attempt to sit this week. In the previous two plenary days, the MPs did not gather a quorum to begin their work, BTA reports.

On Wednesday, 61 MPs registered in the plenary hall, out of the required 121, and on Thursday – 71. Therefore, the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova announced the next plenary session today at 9:00.

Yesterday, 29 MPs from "Continuing Change-Democratic Bulgaria" registered (PP-DB), 9 from “BSP-United Left“, 14 from “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms“ (APS), 11 from Morality, Unity, Honor“ (MECH) and 8 from “Majesty“.

The deputies from GERB-SDF, “DPS-New Beginning“, “There is such a people“ and those not members of a parliamentary group were not in the plenary hall. From “Vazrazhdane“ they were in the hall, but did not register.

On October 14, GERB leader Boyko Borisov announced that they would no longer have a quorum in parliament. I do not see any place for GERB in such a government, Borisov also said at a meeting with the GERB-SDF parliamentary group and Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. Borisov's statement came after the elections for municipal councilors in Pazardzhik, in which GERB is the sixth political force.

If there is a need to share responsibility in governance and GERB is concerned about this, we are ready to take responsibility, said yesterday the leader of the MRF and the parliamentary group of “DPS-New Beginning“ Delyan Peevski to journalists on the sidelines of the parliament. He said that he had spoken to the Prime Minister. “I am waiting for them, they would have a decision by Monday what they will do, I assume that he is waiting for Borisov”, Peevski said. According to him, everything is in Borisov's hands - "whether he will throw the state into the abyss."

We are ready for any talks with the partners in the government to preserve this government in view of the tasks that lie ahead for the country, the approaching deadlines for the budget, and the initiative must be from the mandate holder, but these talks and the decisions that we will take cannot be at any cost, said BSP Chairman Atanas Zafirov after a meeting of the party's Executive Bureau and the coalition council of "BSP-United Left".

This is a signal for reformatting, commented on the political situation in the country by Jeyhan Ibryamov from the APS parliamentary group.

Reformation cannot take place without the participation of PP - DB, said the co-chairman of the PP-DB parliamentary group Nikolay Denkov.

MECH leader Radostin Vassilev commented, that the budget can be the glue of the government.
