"The expert in the "Siyana" case, Prof. Stanimir Karapetkov, is telling the whole truth about the expertise in the case, that it is in favor of the prosecution, but he forgets what traps he set in it". This was stated by the father of 12-year-old Siyana - Nikolay Popov to bTV.
Popov accused Prof. Karapetkov of giving a manipulated expertise to the detriment of Lyutvi Mestan. He stated that he would not apologize to Prof. Karapetkov, but called on him to take a lie detector test together. "I expect a trap to happen in the case. I am not a victim. I am a person who wants to change something and I am not alone", emphasized the child's father.
According to him, the scandal "Karapetkov with the experts" is currently erupting. No one has thought about what is happening to the experts. The one who has thought about the topic is the Minister of Justice Georgi Georgiev, Nikolay Popov pointed out. He believes that Prof. Karapetkov has become the lord of all experts.
"Regarding the traps during the expertise, the driver said that he performed a maneuver with the steering wheel - a rescue maneuver in which he saved himself in order to kill my child. Prof. Karapetkov has not investigated this anywhere. There is a scenario outlined in which Yavor Notev, the lawyer of the accused in the case, appears in the trial phase at the third or fourth court hearing. Appearing during the court hearing, lawyer Notev and Prof. Karapetkov will fall into a conflict of interest. "Prof. Karapetkov has no business with my lawyer drinking coffee, nor with Yavor Notev," explained the blackened parent.
Nikolai Popov said that drinking coffee has brought the judicial system to this point, full of crooks. He hopes for real reform in the judicial system. "If there is a real judicial system, it will not matter who is the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC) and who is the chief prosecutor," Siyana's father was angry. He said that his goal is to stop people dying on the roads, not to put the accused in prison.
