From today, November 18, repair activities begin on two key sections of the „Trakia“ and „Struma“ highways, which will impose temporary traffic restrictions, announced the „Road Infrastructure“ Agency, quoted by Dariknews.bg
From 8 a.m. today, November 18, for asphalt pavement repairs, the traffic organization in the Sofia lane in the section between the 330th and 334th km of the „Trakia“ highway in the Burgas region will be changed. To implement the planned activities, in a 3.3 km section, the passage in the active lane and the entry into the emergency lane will be restricted. Traffic will move into the overtaking lane. Under favorable weather conditions, the work on the route is expected to be completed by November 26.
From today, November 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., warranty repairs will be carried out on the joints of the viaduct in the area of the town of Dupnitsa /at the 58th km/ of the “Struma“ motorway in the direction of Sofia. During the implementation of the activities, the movement in the active lane and the entry into the emergency lane will be restricted, and traffic will move into the overtaking lane.
The “Road Infrastructure“ Agency apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but the activities are necessary to ensure traffic safety. The appeal to drivers is to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers.
