Varna residents have once again taken to the streets to protest in defense of detained mayor Blagomir Kotsev, while the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) is considering three signals calling for his removal from office, BNT reported.
Protesters hold up posters reading "Varna is not for sale" and "Blago is in custody because he is the mayor". They chant "Freedom", "Peevski in prison" and "Mutri out".
The protesters were informed that Kotsev's lawyer was present at the commission meeting.
