The Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating a large-scale scheme for property fraud and money laundering linked to the political party “Velichie“. There are detainees, Nova TV has learned. Early this morning, CPC agents, together with teams of the gendarmerie and police, began searches of addresses in Sofia, Varna, Shumen, Pazardzhik, as well as in the village of Neofit Rilski.
The action is under the leadership of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.
The leader of the "Velicie" party, Ivelin Mihaylov, came out with a comment on the case.
