Bojanov: Borisov, although he seemed quite angry and offended, still did not say a single bad word about Peevski - 1

The resignation of the government is a success for the citizens. They came out intransigent, expressed their anger against the outrages of this government and this is their success. This was said in the program "Face to Face" on bTV by the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Bozhidar Bojanov, quoted by novini.bg.

The rulers are in a hurry to get rid of any responsibility. Last year we said that there should be a cordon sanitaire against Peevski. Then Borisov got scared, took us out of the negotiations and we saw what happened. The responsibility for now going to elections lies entirely with the current majority. Now the citizens have told them that Peevski should be isolated – every future majority must start this. The people in the square were against the model of government – the model of Peevski and Borisov. Both the budget that did not pass and the budget for the current year are theirs, their representative continues to serve as prime minister until the appointment of the caretaker government. They cannot be an opposition to their own government in resignation. Borisov is very experienced and knows that he speaks hot and cold. So they should not try to avoid responsibility for their decisions, said Bozanov.

According to him, a new budget must be submitted by the next regular government, but an extended budget to arrange some payments has been made before and can be made again.

In response to a question, he specified that in "Continuing Change-Democratic Bulgaria" they are rather not surprised by the resignation of cabinet.

The people demanded his resignation early enough, and the government was moving backwards with one protest. The square in Sofia and throughout the country screamed so loudly that there was no way he would not resign. We warned that the arrogance and impudence of this government would inevitably build up over time and this would lead to an explosion. They did not listen to us and this happened. People said "Out with Peevski" and "Out with this model", which through corruption schemes, through the umbrella of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office is being recharged by buying votes during elections. Any future government must eliminate this model of government, Bozhidar Bozhanov pointed out.

Today we saw that Borisov, although he seemed quite angry and quite offended, once again did not say a single bad word about Peevski. The political parasite Peevski has decided to let his host will continue for some time, Bozanov noted.

He considered it a mistake to allow Peevski to present himself as the spokesman of the so-called assembly, as well as part of the amendments to the Constitution, adopted with the support of the leader of the DPS-New Beginning.

We have not only admitted our mistakes, but we have had leaders resign, the voters have also punished us, so I think we have learned from our mistakes, said the co-chair of "Yes, Bulgaria".

We see that Mr. Borisov insists that he has not made a single mistake, he believes that his model is working. In the next elections, it is very important for people to go out to vote and support someone – whether it will be us or someone else, they will decide. But this will change the picture very seriously. Our three main priorities, which we will work for, are the rule of law, the isolation of the Peevski model and Borisov and following Bulgaria's Euro-Atlantic direction. The more votes we get, the more successfully we will be able to defend these priorities, Bozhidar Bozhanov commented.

According to him, the possible creation of a political force by President Rumen of Radev "will shuffle the cards".

But how the next parliament will be organized will be decided by the Bulgarian citizens. At this stage, we do not know what this is, making predictions now would rather be a mistake. First of all, we will have to fight for fair elections. We believe that machine voting and machine counting of votes is the surest way to have fair elections. An attempt must be made to have a consensus on this, Bozhanov added.
