The repair shop that was engulfed in a hellish fire yesterday in Tsarevo is the same one whose mystical cash register was taken away during the great flood on October 3, Flagman.bg reported.
As we reported yesterday, at around 5 p.m. due to a production incident, a workshop located in the Vasiliko district caught fire. As a result of the fire, everything was destroyed – property worth hundreds of thousands of leva.
According to information from Flagman.bg, the base is the local service station “Avto Yani“, which gained national fame after the great flood in October swept away its company treasury and caused a real gold rush in Tsarevo.
There were legends about the property of “Avto Yani“ that there were probably several million and gold inside.
The owner Yani Iliev claimed that only company documents and 30 thousand leva in cash were stored in the vault. However, no one believed him, because in the meantime, money was literally starting to come out on the beach. Hundreds were digging like beavers in the mud and pulling out hundreds of fifty leva bills.
In the end, it turned out that the money came from the offices of the Retail Park in Tsarevo and most likely from the Lidl hypermarket, which also suffered in the flood. The cash register of “Avto Yani“ was discovered intact some 20 days later. Yesterday, however, a new disaster befell the local businessman.
