Rumen Radev announced his entry into the party political arena, where he will compete for trust and votes with the other parties.
He is coming down from the comfort of his tower, in which he did not have to make many compromises, and those that did have to be made, he missed in the fog of political struggle.

We have learned our lessons from the compromises and understood our mistakes. And because of this, we are stronger and more prepared for the battle with the model currently personified by Peevski and Borisov, which, however, is waiting for its next master, if it is not institutionally dismantled.
Voters can be completely sure that we will not back down from the most important priorities and will guarantee their implementation: 1) the institutional dismantling of the model of the conquered state and 2) guaranteeing Bulgaria's European path and increasing the collective security of the European Union in the face of numerous external threats.
We know how not to back down from the most important priorities - many people criticized us when we were at the negotiating table last winter, but we were there precisely for the sake of these goals. And when there was resistance to the first point, and uncertainty about the second, it meant that we had no place in the government - a government that was then overthrown by protests organized on our initiative.
Therefore, we rely on all those who want to bet on these two conditions simultaneously, to give us the necessary parliamentary power to impose them.
Radev's speech could have been a programmatic speech for his future political project. Instead, he chose blanket populism.
But beyond the slogans, the devil is in the details - details that we have: outlined measure by measure, reform by reform, bill by bill. And most importantly - we have the courage to implement them when the repressive apparatus behind the scenes raises its muzzle against us.
