What is happening in and around the "Petrohan" hut is a rather complex case, in which there are many details. They, in our opinion, are hidden. And everything necessary will be done to remain hidden from the authorities. Nowhere are the authorities obliged to reveal facts and circumstances that may lead to the discovery of a crime. We are talking about several basic problems here, and they are many. Let's put the facts on the table. What we know with a high degree of certainty is the following:
There were threats against these people, obviously, because they submitted application materials that they were threatened by the timber mafia - on the one hand. On the other hand, with regard to some of the people, there is evidence that applications and reports have been filed against them, reports have been filed with the Ministry of Interior, the National Agency for the State Security of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Prosecutor's Office alleging that they are complicit in the crime of pedophilia. These reports have been quite frequent over time. We cannot say what exactly happened. Simply because we have not worked in the field, we have no contact with these people. This news became known to us when it became known to the entire Bulgarian society. Our team, especially our colleague Atanas Chobanov, tried to have a database accessible to Bulgarian citizens. And their connections can be seen through all registers. Our extract of the information is available. It is disturbing that a private organization was put in a position to preserve the ecological balance and defend the forest from loggers and poachers.

This is disturbing for two reasons. As far as we know, this could, possibly, under certain conditions, be carried out by a company that is registered under the Private Security Activities Act. In other words, which has a security license. I do not know that this organization had a security license. At least in my opinion, this is a necessary legal prerequisite. Why is the State Forestry Agency not able to cover this area and protect it fully and qualitatively. We constantly see in state forestry enterprises that there is a shortage of people. In Bulgaria, there is a shortage of people for everything - we have an overblown administration. It's as if every third person employed in the state administration works. The other two are resting and drinking coffee. We have no effective fight, neither against organized crime nor against unorganized crime. Even people like forest guards are also in short supply, there is a shortage of personnel. All this presupposes thinking about private organizations that, on a voluntary basis, would maintain the ecological balance, protect the forests from logging. But I say again - we are talking with hypotheses.
At this stage, I have managed to identify at least four signals of pedophilia practiced in the "Petrohan" hut. The situation is disturbing. I don't want to talk before the official data from the competent authorities is released. But it is a fact that at least three institutions - the Ministry of Interior, the National Agency for National Security and the Prosecutor's Office - have been informed and referred to data that substantiate the assumption that on the territory of this hut, in this vast space, and not only there, some of the individuals who were on the territory of this hut were complicit in the commission of the crime of pedophilia.
