It is expected to become clear when the Security Council of the Council of Ministers will be held, due to the escalation of tension in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Defense will send a report today with an analysis of the risks for the country to Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov.
Based on the report, prepared after the emergency meeting on Wednesday at the Ministry of Defense, specific measures will be identified for the security of Bulgarian citizens, as well as for the protection of the country's territory.
This has come to this after Iran launched a ballistic missile at Turkey, a NATO member state, yesterday. Against this background, a large part of the parties in parliament called on President Iliana Yotova to urgently convene the Security Council.
