Valeri Zhablyanov: BSP is heading to the elections with the aim of achieving the best possible result - 1

The BSP is striving for the “best possible result“ in the upcoming elections and is ready for dialogue with different political forces after the vote. This was stated in “The Day Begins“ on BNT by the member of the party's Executive Bureau, Valeri Zhablyanov.

Regarding the information that the campaign can be financed with loans, Zhablyanov commented that such a practice is not unusual.

“Is it a normal situation? Why shouldn't it be normal? Many people have loans, repay them, take out new ones, have several leases. In modern financial capitalism, it is like this - no one has the exact money they have earned, receives others, returns them later. There are some who remain eternal debtors.“

According to him, the financial situation of the party is an internal party issue. According to him, the previous leadership managed to largely stabilize the BSP financially after a difficult period of elections over several months and not good results in them.

He pointed out that the main task of the BSP at the moment is to achieve a strong election result.

„Look, we have another task at the moment and this is the best possible result for the Socialist Party in the elections. I think we went the right way - the BSP was the first to arrange its lists, determine its leaders.“

From his words it became clear that the opponents are parties with different ideas. According to him, „Progressive Bulgaria“ is more of a centrist party.

„The BSP can conduct a dialogue with such parties, it can also conduct a dialogue with right-center parties, but it is extremely important to preserve the value and position of the party."

Regarding the new political project around the president and the possibility of socialists switching to him, Zhablyanov commented that such processes are not new to Bulgarian politics.

„I want to remind you that over the years many socialists have gone to other parties. Other political parties have also appeared.“

According to him, there are currently no serious structural shifts in the ranks of the BSP. Still, there will probably be individuals from the BSP who will now be on the lists of “Progressive Bulgaria“.

“The BSP is in its place, well organized, motivated to participate in the elections.“

Regarding the way in which the candidate lists were arranged, Zhablyanov pointed out that the rules set out in the party's statute were followed.
