A fire broke out on the roof of a residential building in Sveti Vlas. Two fire brigade teams and police officers were sent to the scene of the incident, securing the perimeter around the burning building.
The signal about the fire element initially gained publicity through amateur videos distributed by eyewitnesses on social networks. The footage clearly shows thick black smoke and high flames rising.
According to preliminary data, the fire has covered a significant part of the roof structure. Firefighters are working to localize and completely extinguish the fire in order to prevent sparks from spreading to neighboring buildings.
At the moment, the causes of the fire remain under investigation. There is still no official information whether there were people in the building during the fire and whether there were any injuries. An inspection is pending after the fire is completely extinguished.
