GERB always goes to elections to win, we always prepare to govern. When we talk about disintegration, about models, oligarchs, diagnoses are always made, and we are looking for a solution.
This was said by the deputy chairman of GERB Daniel Mitov on the air of "Wake up".
„We have become members of Schengen, of the eurozone, now we must make the country richer, to reformat it from an economy of cheap labor to an economy with high added value”, he added.
„In a parliamentary republic, people rarely give the right to a single party to govern independently. Since this is the case, agreement with other parties must be sought. Only after the elections, after we see how many mandates each party has in parliament, can we say what the possible configurations are”, said Mitov.
According to him, Rumen Radev's program includes a request to lead the left in Bulgaria and be a continuation of the BSP. He pointed out that there are significant differences in the economic views of GERB and Radev.
Another topic that was touched upon in the conversation was the construction of the “Hemus” motorway. “The motorway would have been completed if Asen Vassilev, as Finance Minister, had not taken the money - 2 billion leva, from the special account and distributed it. We still don't understand where he distributed it”, he said. According to him, Vassilev is the cause of large budget deficits that the Bulgarian economy cannot currently cope with.
Daniel Mitov also commented on his work on the “Petrohan-Okolchitsa” case as follows: “The minister should not take a position until the case is clarified. And we have a unique case for the Bulgarian environment. And until all the facts and circumstances are clarified, until there are no results from the expertise, it is not right for the minister to comment. You see that the current minister does not speak on the merits of the case either, and that is right.” He added that the experts have provided the necessary information to the public.
Mitov also commented on his reaction to the case of the attack on the director of the police in Ruse and the comparison that is made between it and the one with “Petrohan-Okolchitsa”. He asked whether the two cases are identical and how the same reaction is expected.

Another topic he commented on was the placement of Vladislav Goranov at the head of the electoral list in Varna. “He is the leader of the list, part of GERB and one of our great and good financial experts. Mitov also said that Andrey Gyurov could turn out to be an illegitimate prime minister. And he asked why a person who has a legal case around him is being appointed as acting prime minister. “As things go, it will turn out that he could not have been part of the so-called.
