Full information about polling stations and voting opportunities is available on the Sofia Municipality information portal for the National Assembly elections on 19.04.2026.
The Sofia Municipality information portal for the elections collects the necessary information for citizens in one place and guarantees higher publicity and awareness, said the Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev.
The portal is a web-based GIS application, where information about the numbers of the polling stations, their location, the method of voting - machine and/or with paper ballots - is organized. Through the portal, citizens can check the number of the polling station in which they vote by personal identification number or address. All inquiries are made based on the electoral rolls.

A total of 1,598 polling stations are located on the territory of Sofia Municipality, where citizens will be able to exercise their right to vote. Of these, the sections submitted by the regional administrations, which are for voters with visual impairments or with mobility difficulties, are 189.
The Sofia Municipality provides the opportunity for specialized transportation for voters with visual impairments or with mobility difficulties. Applications are accepted by the “Transportation Services“ department. on the telephone number 0800 20 720 (free for citizens) from 07:00 to 20:30 on 18.04.2026 and from 07:00 to 19:30 on 19.04.2026.
To facilitate the voting of voters in disadvantaged situations, the Sofia Municipality is also organizing 14 mobile polling stations.
Tactile templates for voting with paper ballots will be provided on a pilot basis for citizens with visual impairments. By its decision, the CEC has provided a total of 240 ballots for the Sofia Municipality, which will be delivered on Saturday.
This initiative aims to ensure equal opportunities for people with disabilities to exercise their right to vote on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
