We, the independent people's representatives and four of the municipal councilors, have decided to start work on a new political organization, independent MP Nikolay Drenchev announced to journalists in the National Assembly. According to him, new elections are expected and they will not significantly change the configuration in the parliament. Bulgaria needs a new political organization, a new alternative, he pointed out, quoted by BTA.
What we see is the need for a new patriotic formation, which, however, has a human face, he added and clarified that they will most likely appear in the first elections that are coming, but they are not essential and important for them . The main focus is to create the organization, to structure it, to bring people together, he added.
At the moment, the participants in the project are four independent municipal councilors - Krasimir Galabov, Ventsi Stoychev, Vasil Draganov and Sevdelina Petrova, as well as three independent people's representatives - Ivo Ruschev, Alexander Arangelov and Nikolay Drenchev.
In February, after the election of the chairman of the Metropolitan Municipal Council, four municipal councilors were excluded from “Vazrazhdane”. After that, the parliamentary group of “Revival“ also excluded three MPs because the party's Sofia organization demanded political responsibility from the people's representatives who nominated these representatives in the list for municipal councilors in Sofia.
