We are not yet on the brink of a crisis, it depends on how events unfold in the next 72 hours. During the negotiations, they pull out dirty shirts and blame each other. Neither GERB nor PP-DB can be trusted about who wanted what and what they offered. This situation we've gotten ourselves into is out of a lot of trickery. This was commented by the political scientist Kaloyan Metodiev in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
According to him, during the last nine months there were no principles, but control of posts and mutual accusations. According to him, there was a lack of a fundamental dispute about politics.
"The agreements between Borissov and the president have deepened to such an extent and enter another partnership level, separate from the political one in the parliament and the government, that we have come to this situation where we do not have a law on the official cabinet. GERB blocked him in the commission," the political scientist told Bulgaria ON AIR.
Metodiev is adamant that the caretaker government must organize fair elections, and the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, is constantly trying to provoke crises in the state. The political scientist is of the opinion that GERB returned situationally on a white horse, but "they cannot turn back time and win the people's love".
"There is no time for new political formations, but it is heard that several projects are being prepared. Around Kuzman Iliev, and the other is around Pekanov. So far, the president has created at least three parties that were under his wing," Metodiev believes.
According to him, in the BSP elections, they would do better and it is possible that they could increase their result, because "Cornelia Ninova is the only one who knelt down to Borisov".
