GERB are ready to blow up everything to continue holding offices, power, information. This was stated by BNR PR expert Lyubomir Alamanov.
He is surprised that PP-DB does not communicate better and tell more about how the assembly came to be put together.
"In 2022, when the war broke out in Ukraine, Kiril Petkov's government helped a lot. Literally helping Ukraine survive in the early days. However, GERB, with ITN and DPS, overthrew Petkov's government.
In the summer of 2022, nothing happens in the parliament. There is a caretaker government that says that without "Gazprom" we will die.
Normal Western countries are asking themselves what is happening in Bulgaria when there is open aggression and the whole world is shaking.
Then GERB and DPS suddenly became Euro-Atlanticists, who strongly support Ukraine. There is a whole massive campaign that GERB and DPS have changed. It could turn out that PP-DB does not support GERB, given that Borisov's party wants to make reforms.
9 months later it turned out that they didn't want to. When reform was started in the prosecutor's office, it was done to some extent.
When Academician Denkov asked to change the leadership of DANS, because theoretically and on paper it is under his leadership, but the president, who formally appoints the director, refused. Then Boyko Borisov said: Let's not touch this service.
Alamanov believes that only "the information that the services want us to receive" is distributed in the public space.
"The astonishing double standard and ability of some institutions to act as if it were 1975 is clear.
If DANS arrests senior government officials without notifying the prime minister, it means that he has no faith.
The prosecutor's office must say whether an arrest is made based on a photograph. If arrested, i.d. an attorney general who is photographed with people who are wanted for crimes should also be arrested.
We don't understand how broken the institutions are and they don't want to work in a new way. Most people cannot imagine what kind of militia assemblies they can get into. The services are holding many people hostage.
Lyubomir Alamanov commented on PP-DB's request that they are ready after the elections to govern with GERB, but not with DPS.
"PP-DB want to make reforms, but they understand that they cannot do them alone. They can't believe that GERB are ready to blow everything up and take us back ten years to continue to hold offices, channels, power, information.
PP-DB say what their conditions are. When they are together, GERB and DPS do not want to make reforms.
He believes that the PP-DB do not rule out the possibility of getting fewer votes.
"The communication of the PP-DB people will be important, they must explain what and why they did".
Alamanov commented on the line of behavior chosen by Delyan Peevski in the last year.
"How do you deal with a verbal abuser? First of all, there must be an increase in the level of awareness of society.
If voters are inclined to believe him, that is their right. But it is strange when PP-DB voters trust Peevski or Boyko Borisov".
The role of part of the media in the whole process is sad and not a plus sign, the PR expert also pointed out.
"The main thing is the maturity of society and voters. Is it because of purposefully thrown phrases that they don't go to vote? Trust some people".
Democracy is taking responsibility. Refusal to vote also shows attitude.
GERB and DPS together have 1.1 million votes. This is an unavoidable factor.
PP-DB are the most isolated parliamentary group because they have principles, while the others do not and they get along, Alamanov also believes.
