Parliament decided to release the manager of the NHOC Stanimir Mihailov, who for five months waiting for his resignation to be accepted, told a reporter of "Focus".
In the voting, 116 were "for", 56 were "against", there were no abstentions, and ITN did not participate in the voting.
In the debates, the PP-DB pointed out that if the governor was also released, the NHIF would be controlled by GERB.
"At the moment, it is obvious that the management of the NHIF is being taken over directly, not by persons appointed by other bodies, but by colleagues from GERB-SDS," said Vasil Pandov. He requested that the resignation of the Deputy Governor Momchil Mavrov be considered.
Tsoncho Ganev from "Revival" accused PP-DB of incompetence, he said that the latter changed the legislation in health care in order to "be able to push their ladybugs". He recalled the disputes in the summer of last year surrounding the election of Stanimir Mihailov as head of the Health Fund.
ITN stated that they will not participate in the vote. Their motive therefore was that they did not agree with his choice from the beginning.
During the discussions, Vasil Pandov made a procedure in which he requested that the point be withdrawn, since the manager of the NHOC had withdrawn his resignation.
Kostadin Angelov, on the other hand, suspected pressure against Mihailov and stated that GERB will file a report for an investigation into the case.
This led to a 15-minute recess, requested by Asen Vassilev, in which the deputies had to settle the legal case that resulted from the actions of Stanimir Mihailov.
After her, the debates continued. It became clear that yesterday the deputy governor Momchil Mavrov also withdrew his resignation, and shortly before the end of the debates, the PP-DB asked Stanimir Mihailov to enter the hall, which was accepted. Kostadin Angelov announced from the rostrum that his resignation was withdrawn through an associate of the second political power.
