There is a possibility that the Ministry of Education and Science will announce May 2 as a non-school day throughout the country. This was stated by the competent minister Galin Tsokov in Plovdiv, BTA reports. Tsokov attended the promotion of the graduates from the bachelor's and master's programs of the Pedagogical Faculty of Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski".
According to his words, analyzes are currently being carried out, after which the full picture for the country will be obtained, and at the latest tomorrow, it will be announced whether May 2 will be closed to school. Based on the analyses, we are currently talking with parents', employers' organizations and unions in order to make the best decision, Minister Tsokov said.
According to him, there is a possibility that the orders already issued by some mayors, who declared May 2 as a non-school day, will be cancelled.
Minister Tsokov wished the graduates from the Faculty of Pedagogy of Plovdiv University to be persistent, persistent and successful specialists, because, according to him, society and Bulgaria need them.
