Alexander Simov: GERB, PP-DB and DPS should take responsibility for the constitutional blockade

„This situation started last June year and so far it hasn't stopped being an epic scam – a complete political catastrophe and the entanglement of Bulgaria in a cycle of permanent scandal. Bulgarian society is used to enduring many atrocities, but these set new records.“

This is what the journalist and former MP from the BSP Alexander Simov said in the Euronews Primetime studio.

GERB, PP-DB and DPS are the authors of this constitutional blockade and I ask that they take responsibility.

“I think we need to reach a consensus in the upcoming elections – if in the next 15-20 years any party says that it will change the Constitution, it must drop out of participation in the elections," said Simov.

According to him, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, is trying to limit parliamentary activity and the demands for his resignation are justified.

According to Simov, BSP will have a better result in the upcoming elections.

“I see that the BSP is on the way to regaining confidence in itself. This will not be quick, but the process has started”, the socialist believes.

“GERB gave a lot of power to the PP-DB, and they overeat with it, and all the time they were being stalked and waiting for the moment when they would be exposed as another corruption cobweb that took power. PP-DB is already a party of corruption and a party of the status quo, Simov also said.
