Gabriela Peeva, accused of the murder of Peyo Peev, requested a change in her pretrial detention. She is now in custody. On her own request, she was not present in the courtroom today, Nova TV reported.
Her three lawyers presented different reasons for Peeva to be placed under house arrest. Among them, her state of health and the fact that she completed higher education abroad. The prosecutor's office protested.
The court decided that the request to change the measure to a lighter one was groundless. For now, the judge believes that there are sufficient grounds that she committed the crime. The danger of him going into hiding has not decreased either.
Video technical examination of the security cameras proved that there was a struggle and suffocation in the car where Peev's body was found. However, the expertise cannot establish the identity of the participants.
