Our whole campaign is to return to the people, because the power lies with the people, not with the politicians . Nothing depends on Borisov, nothing depends on Peevski, if enough people come out and say “we want normal institutions”.
This was stated by the leader of “We continue the change” and co-chairman of the PP-DB coalition Kiril Petkov in an interview with BNR.

We say “come on, let the lamp shine, let's see who are the best, not for us politicians, but for the entire Bulgarian people”, Kiril Petkov gave an example of how not to do the procedures for the regulators.
According to him, DANS invents compromising material and as such he pointed out that he and Lena Borislavova falsified documents as members of an NGO that saves sea beaches.
„Apparently they cannot convince us of the real ideas of what Bulgaria should look like and they want to push us into the mud. DANCE is the club. The good thing is that Koral, Karadere and Irakli are preserved together with a 500 m strip behind them”, stated Kiril Petkov.
And he added: We declared war on the conquered country already in the last month of the National Assembly. We said that without reforms in the services, judicial reform and in the regulators, we will behave like this until the Bulgarians have normal institutions. And I heard from the services: Terrible, these people have set out to replace us. Let's reassure them that we don't want to replace them with others. All we want is fair competitions and transparent procedures. And for Bulgaria to become a normal country, not two people with phones, maybe even one - Peevski, calling them from morning to night and commanding them what to do. This is a battle that will last a long time. We understand, but we're not worried.
According to the PP leader, “DANS has over 2,000 employees and they can be harnessed every day to come up with something like compromising material".
On the removal of the Chairman of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, Petkov explained: GERB and DPS do not own everything in the state. We made a big mistake entering this management 9 months ago. We did not realize how dependent Borisov is on Peevski. He is terribly addicted to Peevski and now we already know it. Zhelyazkov left, including Maria Gabriel was in use, not because they are not decent people. This is Borisov's dependence on Peevski, who made Zhelyazkov commit these violations with the head of the NHSOC and vote for his resignation. And Gabriel to bring in ministers who were not agreed.
„Our goal is to highlight this relationship to Borisov, that he is dependent on Peevski and cannot make decisions on his own. And we say that we will sit at the negotiating table after the elections if this dependency is broken. We don't want a rigged match. But obviously Peevski must lose the power he has, and Mr. Borisov must somehow get rid of his dependence on him”, Kiril Petkov said.
He categorically rejected Peevski's confessions that he begged him to reconcile him in Borisov:
"I have never prayed to anyone, it is nonsense".
His view is that “actually it does not depend on them and us, it only depends on the Bulgarian citizens”.
„In the two parallel states, people have to choose. In one case, they vote as a person for Acad. Denkov, educated, intelligent, understands education, will enable the development path of Bulgaria. The other case is Peevski or Borisov, you get both and we go back to the so-called lean pizza with sticks. In fact, the power is neither with us nor with them, it is with the people, commented Kiril Petkov.
He said that they go from city to city, the halls are full and the people are ecstatic “because they felt the power in their own hands”.
„We will go from city to city to empower people and tell them “the power is with you!”, promised the leader of “We continue the change”.
About the difference of 7% with GERD in the polls, he explained that these are “peripheries wondering whether to vote or not”.
„We will do for our voters, who felt offended by the assembly, to activate them, these are these 7 – 8%”, he hopes.
And he promised that the PP-DB will not allow the democratic community, which has 700,000 people, to split.
„They will start to conform, they have nowhere to go. "In the last 30 years, they have been trying to split the democratic community," Petkov said.

„Perhaps we should apologize to our voters for not realizing this dependence Borisov – Peevski must be broken, we must tell the story of how we will continue after the elections, and it is important for people to hear that there is no savior, there is no messiah, and we must tell the story of the Tribulation, he said.
And he confirmed that Boyko Rashkov is on the list of the PP-DB because he “was among the fighters against corruption”.
Petkov warned his political opponents that they cannot lie all the time, because in the fairy tale “The Lying Shepherd“ no one believes the third time.
„Our community, its togetherness makes us strong, not a function of positions and posts, but of a cause. We learn our lessons and understand that only together we can. We are becoming an unavoidable factor,”, Petkov is categorical and considers it a mistake that the negotiations on the rotation were not public.
