Bulgarian-Romanian teams will regulate traffic on Easter holidays - 1
Joint Bulgarian-Romanian teams will regulate traffic on Easter holidays in the regions of Vidin, Dobrich, Ruse and Silistra, the Ministry of the Interior announced, quoted by dariknews.bg.

The border areas have been determined based on the expectations of intense traffic, and the goal is to strengthen safety measures and prevent accidents on the roads

At working meetings held between representatives of the management of the “Traffic Police” the two countries determined that the joint activity should be carried out on April 30, May 1 and May 6 along the main road directions in the border areas of all border checkpoints (BCP) on the border with the Republic of Romania.

The control carried out by the joint patrols will be aimed at drivers with behavior that poses a danger to other road users, related to incorrect maneuvers – overtaking, entering the oncoming traffic lane, taking the right of way and others. Their activity will be primarily focused on places characterized by insufficient traffic capacity and sections with prerequisites for the occurrence of problematic situations on the roadway in order to support traffic and prevent the formation of columns.

From “Traffic Police“ urge drivers to drive with caution, not to take risky maneuvers and move at an appropriate speed.
