The topic of the election campaign and possible management formulas after the elections was commented by political scientist Hristo Panchugov to NOVA NEWS .
He is of the opinion that heavy blows are expected during the election campaign.
Panchugov commented on Trend data, according to which GERB-SDS received 24.9%, PP-DB 15.5%, and DPS 14.4%. He believes that the difference between GERB-SDS and PP-DB is due to unjustified expectations towards PP-DB. Panchugov is of the opinion that GERB has had systematic support for a long time. The political scientist believes that DPS have managed to mobilize their support on other occasions.
„I don't think that GERB would make a coalition only with DPS. Between GERB-SDS and PP-DB it would be quite a serious surprise. The way they parted shows a lack of joint priorities," Panchugov said, quoted by novini.bg.
„Blue Bulgaria" is an interesting case study. They have already achieved real success in Sofia. They are trying to enter into a conversation about values and policies that the right-wing space needs. Whether this will bring them success depends on the campaign”, said the political scientist.
„The support that “Revival” could collect is also a key question of how the future parliament will perform, he added.
„Vanya Grigorova has a sense for the messages that could be recognized by the left-wing electorate”, Panchugov believes.
„The state of the BSP at the moment is favorable for any other left-wing political entities,”, he added.
