After resignation: The Inspectorate at the SJC released Alexander Mumdzhiev, detained in Vratsa for indecent behavior  - 1

The Inspectorate at the Supreme Judicial Council reported that Inspector Alexander Mumdzhiev submitted to the National Assembly on 17.05.2024 a notification of unilateral termination of the employment relationship with the Inspectorate, as well as an application from the same date to the Chief Inspector of the IVSS for the termination of his employment relationship .

On the basis of the submitted documents, the chief inspector of the IVSS issued an order announcing the termination of the employment relationship of Alexander Mumdzhiev with the Inspectorate of the Supreme Judicial Council, effective from 17.05.2024

In view of the fact that Inspector Alexander Mumzhdiev worked under the conditions of an expired mandate, the National Assembly is not obliged to take an explicit decision on the submitted resignation.

The statement of Alexander Mumdzhiev to the National Assembly is informative, according to the decision of 16.05.2023, issued under Adm. e. No. 4514/2022 according to the inventory of the Supreme Administrative Court, according to which “the regime for the dismissal of an inspector from the Inspectorate of the SJC who
in the case of an expired mandate, but extended due to objective circumstances, is notifying the electoral body.

An act of the National Assembly is not a part of the factual composition for the dismissal of an inspector from the IVSS, upon his resignation”.
