Only in the Stara Planina region, Mount Botev has fog and moderate wind. Above 2000, 2200 meters there is still snow.
Possibly, in the afternoon hours, it is expected to rain in the Rhodopes, with thunderstorms, warns the PSS.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced. Around and after noon, cumulus clouds will develop, mainly in the Rhodopes and cumulus-rain clouds, there will be rain and thunder. It will blow moderately, in the high and exposed parts to a strong west-northwest wind. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be about 18°, at 2000 meters – about 12°.
