Two recordings of conversations of leading politicians from "Continuing the change" leaked into the public domain in the middle of the election campaign. In both, it is about the financing of the formation through donations.
"The records may have been tampered with. They are part of the election campaign. The political campaign is very often conducted with criminal plots. This is a huge breakthrough in democracy. Criminal plots are created to seek a political result. Campaigns only turn into black swans," commented analyst Georgi Lozanov in the program "The Day ON AIR".
In the words of political commentator Kristijan Škvarek, there are many campaigns in which "criminal use" is present. He noted that the PP uploaded the manipulated recordings to their Facebook page and emphasized that the campaign was "totally devoid of the political". According to him, Hristo Ivanov is absent from the PP-DB campaign.
"The more visionary decisions in Bulgarian politics come through Hristo Ivanov. The conversation in the election campaign requires geopolitical breadth and historical depth", Lozanov told Bulgaria ON AIR.
"In Bulgaria, the liberals vote. Anyone who takes a more conservative position, even if he is categorically anti-Russian and pro-European, is instantly branded a Russophile Putinist. They say: "Liberal is in the West, conservative is in the East," Shkvarek added.
Lozanov pointed out that there are two types of vote: cooperative and civil. Some parties enjoy a great deal of cooperative support - the people who vote for them vote with the idea that it will bring their own self-interest. There is also a civil vote - these are the people who are motivated to make something good happen for society - freedom and prosperity.
