Assoc. Ivo Indjov commented this before the BNR – professor of journalism, about the leaked recordings of intra-party conversations of PP politicians.
"Obviously there is someone out there who is purposefully recording and submitting information. Let's not forget that the first compromising record for the PP-DB was made by a fellow party member of the PP, and somewhere in there, who knows what kind of big conspiracy should not be looked for. They did not deny what was said.
I think the problem with these entries is the content – first of all, to see what is being talked about, as far as possible, to reconstruct what was said, and only after that who takes them out into the public space and if there is a violation of the law, the competent authorities must get involved, he pointed out and noted, that it is about politicians who claim a new morality and a new beginning in politics.
According to him, there is no grandiose scandal in these records.
"In our recent history, we have far more scandalous and shocking records about the state of the country, and they will come out one day," Assoc. Indjov was categorical and added that there should not be double standards for the records.
In his words, the services, the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of the Interior must be reformed. In order to make these reforms, you need to have a suitable political ally and the will to change, he pointed out.
Assoc. Ivo Indjov believes that after the elections the probability of a government is 50 to 50. He is adamant that it matters who will be second in the results:
"If PP-DB are second, they will still be able to claim to be a more active part of a Euro-Atlantic coalition. Here, the issue of Peevski and DPS will hang with a terrible force. If they are third, then the situation becomes very complicated for them. On a symbolic level, their role as a junior coalition partner will be strengthened, if a coalition is reached at all. Again, the issue with DPS is pending – will PP-DB swallow DPS with Peevski".
According to him, it will be easiest to form a coalition if "Revival" are second. If DPS are second, PP-DB will try to distance themselves from this coalition, he believes.
