The Prosecution College voted for the resignation of the appellate prosecutor of Sofia Radoslav Dimov, who left not only the leadership position, but and the judicial system, "Lex" reported.
At the suggestion of Ognyan Damyanov, Stefan Petrov and Evgeni Ivanov, the collegium honored him with a “personal badge of honor– golden“ and BGN 1,500 for “demonstrated high professionalism, impeccable performance of official duties and high moral qualities”.
On this occasion, Ognyan Damyanov read what Radoslav Dimov had written in the internal forum of the Prosecutor's Office: “Today, the Prosecutorial Board will vote on my resignation. The reason for my departure is that my health has deteriorated greatly due to the unfounded attacks on me and my loved ones. It was an honor and a pleasure to be your colleague. I wish you health and strength and that you continue to fight crime”.
Radoslav Dimov was elected appellate prosecutor of Sofia in September 2019. Before that, he headed the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office.
