The former inspector from the Inspectorate at the SJC Alexander Mumdzhiev wants to be returned as an investigator in Sofia. He submitted documents to the prosecutorial board of the judicial personnel authority. This became clear at the meeting of the collegium, BTA reported.
Mumdzhiev became known for his obscene behavior in a hotel during an inspection by the District Prosecutor's Office - Vratsa.
On May 17, Mumdzhiev submitted to the National Assembly a notice of unilateral termination of the employment relationship with the Inspectorate of the High Judicial Council (HIC). On the same day, he also submitted an application to the chief inspector of the IVSS for the termination of his employment relationship.
A day earlier, the inspectorate offered him for release. The reason given was his behavior, incompatible with the position held, damaging the prestige of the judiciary.
A report by the district prosecutor in Vratsa, reported today by judicial personnel, indicates that Mumdzhiev does not meet the moral qualities to be reinstated as a magistrate. It is about Mumdzhiev's actions in the city where he was on a business trip.
He will be invited on May 29 for a hearing before the prosecutor's collegium.
