A worker was injured in an accident with a crane, BTA reported. The incident took place at a construction site in the Kardzhali neighborhood of "Vazrozhendtsi", where a crane fell on another crane and on a truck, causing damage to the adjacent infrastructure.
The injured man was in the cabin of the fallen crane, and his leg was trapped during the accident.
The action to free the victim, who was taken away by ambulance, continued for more than an hour. His relatives were called to the scene of the accident.
The police press office reported that the incident report at the construction site was filed at 10:27 a.m. Fire and police teams were sent to the scene.
In addition to law enforcement, medics from the Emergency Center were also from the Labor Inspectorate. In front of the media, the director of the “Labor Inspection” in Kardzhali, Katya Filipova said that it was probably an accident that occurred during work.
