Elections in Turkey: The Bulgarian language has again proved to be a challenge for expatriates - 1

Traditionally, neighboring Turkey has opened the most sections. From the morning, people who wanted to vote lined up in front of the sections in the "Sheikhsinan" district. in Chorlu, the Bulgaria ON AIR team reported from our neighboring country. Some say they are fed up with so many elections, while others come hoping for a better life for their loved ones in Bulgaria.

"It better be done, it should be better everywhere," Najie demanded.

"I come with the hope that everything will change, that everything will be good. "Pensions should be fixed," other voters pointed out.

"We forgot to talk already. We have relatives there, let everything change - roads, pensions, some don't have taps, water, we don't have enough years for pension", shared our compatriots.

The Bulgarian language again proved to be a challenge for the emigrants.

"Voting is easier on paper", shared one of the voters.

Others, however, bet on the machine vote. And volunteers help fill out declarations on the spot.

"Most of them are elderly people, whose hands are shaking, and for that - to make it happen faster,", commented Nurjihan.

With passports in hand, our compatriots in Chorlu are lining up to elect our next representatives in the Bulgarian and European parliaments.
