Every year MEPs provide public information about their income. Thus it becomes clear that a quarter of our representatives in the European Parliament are already millionaires. Who are the Bulgarian MEPs who saved the most personal funds, according to the most recently published declaration in KONPI and what they declared at the beginning of their mandates, bTV reported.

The MEP from GERB Alexander Yordanov declared in 2022 over 1 million and 100 thousand BGN saved in a bank. At the beginning of his term, three years earlier, the declared amount of pensions, salaries and savings was a little over 210 thousand BGN.

The next one with over a million in 2022 is Angel Jambazki from VMRO. At the start of his European career, he had BGN 20,000 in available funds, without a bank deposit. And now - two terms later - he has declared over 100 thousand in cash and over 1 million and 200 thousand in bank accounts.

Ivo Hristov from BSP also has a 7-digit sum. In 2019, his term begins with 280 thousand. In the last documents submitted by him, the amount is already one million and 100 thousand.

In 2019, at the beginning of the euro career, Atidje Aliyeva-Veli from DPS announced just under 100 thousand BGN available in media and banks. 2022 declared almost 745 thousand BGN.

In 2022, the MEP from Democratic Bulgaria Radan Kanev bought a new camper for almost BGN 110,000. 50% of the amount is leased. And personal funds slightly over 100 thousand BGN, doubling the amount with which he entered the European Parliament.
