Nidal Alghafari: Non-voters are happy with the way they live and don't need to change anything - 1

„The vote shouldn't be so surprising , apart from the scale – 500 thousand votes lower voter turnout is a lot”. This is what Prof. Alexander Marinov told Euronews Bulgaria.

„I have a thesis that those who did not vote are satisfied with the way they live and do not need to change anything. Those who wanted to change it showed it – by voting for “Greatness”, shared Nidal Alghafari.

Prof. However, Alexander Marinov was of the opposite opinion:

"I'm not convinced that people who don't vote are happy – rather, they are waiting for something new. And it will appear. The time is now ripe. I cannot say when President Rumen Radev would enter the battle for the National Assembly. At the moment, there are no such signs", the political scientist added.

"I think the president is reasonable and wise enough to understand that this will throw the country into even greater chaos. At the moment we have one stable institution and that is the presidency. It is not logical for him to destroy in order to enter into such battles," Nidal Alghafari thinks.

The PR expert agreed with Prof. Marinov that “there can be no vacuum” – neither to the left nor to the right.
