It will be hot again today, BNT reported.
A yellow code for dangerously high temperatures remains in effect across the country. Maximum temperatures will be between 34° and 39°, slightly lower along the Black Sea, in Sofia – around 33. It will be sunny, with isolated afternoon showers in the mountains and highlands. A weak southwesterly wind will blow, and the concentration of Saharan dust from the north will decrease.
On the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny and almost quiet. Maximum temperatures will be between 27° and 32°. The temperature of the sea water is 22°-24°. The excitement of the sea will be 1-2 bales.
In the mountains a weak, moderate south-westerly wind will blow along the ridges, and after noon it will rain in isolated places.
Wednesday will remain dangerously hot in the south and east, but in the rest of the country,
where heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, will decrease. The cooling will continue in the coming days, when there will be precipitation in many places in the country, accompanied by thunder and hail conditions.
