My impression is that most people are not afraid of President Rumen Radev's party, but look forward to it with impatience and hope. He has the same rating as the leaders of the first three parties. He is of the opinion that Radev speaks directly, which sometimes bothers other political figures.
Marinov also indicated that regarding the possible appearance of a presidential project, “there is panic among some of the politicians”, as “their performance in the elections is catastrophic”. “For others, there is uncertainty and tension, because even the winners are not in a position to be envied regarding what will happen next,“ added the expert.
He believes that an alternative to the current Bulgarian party-political system will emerge, but it will not necessarily come from Radev. Marinov is of the opinion that a possible project of the president will not be “advertised leftist“.
The expert also believes that it is not impossible to reach new early elections. „Even if a cabinet is formed, it will be even more unstable and even weaker and ineffective than that of „ the assembly“. In such a composition, the National Assembly cannot reproduce a stable and working government," said Marinov. And he added that “DPS came second because the others collapsed”.
