The former chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" and elected as a national representative in the 50th National Assembly from 24 MIR, Hristo Ivanov will not be a deputy, as he stated, by fulfilling all the procedures in the Constitution and the Electoral Code. He will be sworn in and immediately thereafter file an application for early termination of his powers.
"Permanent position of "Yes, Bulgaria" is that after the end of the election day, the competent body to which the resignation should be submitted is the National Assembly", reports the party press center.
The imposed practice of submitting an application to the CEC for deletion from the candidate lists after the end of the election day does not comply with the procedure provided for in the Election Code. It has been the subject of public debate and criticism, and DB has consistently called for it to be discontinued.

The politician will take the oath and then leave the National Assembly, because that is what the procedure requires
