A 43-year-old driver of a “Citroen C5”, born in Istanbul and traveling in the direction of Ruse, gets distracted, enters the oncoming traffic lane and rams the side of a “Ford Transit” driven by a 51-year-old man from Silistren Okorsh village.
During the accident, the 44-year-old wife of the car driver, who was riding in the front seat, and their daughter, who was traveling in the back, were injured. The two were taken to the Medical Center - Razgrad.
After an examination, the woman was placed for treatment in the Surgical Department with suppurative wounds, and the girl was transported to the "St. Ana“ - Varna with broken cervical vertebrae.
Pre-trial proceedings are being conducted on the case.
