About "We continue the change“ there are no prospects for participation in power. This is abundantly clear to everyone, including themselves. Next early elections will mark the end of the political existence of "We continue the change”.
This is what the chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Political Sciences, Prof. Rumiana Kolarova, said in the program "Bulgaria, Europe and the world in focus” on Radio "Focus“.
According to her, the presence of "We continue the change” in the political space will be solely and only thanks to the electorate of "Democratic Bulgaria”. "Their support was reduced to between 2 and 5% of that received by the general coalition, because it is extremely clear that the minimal support for "Democratic Bulgaria” it can hardly go below 7%.
"We continue the change” it will become something of a brand that is attached to this coalition. "Their claims to power were too great and obviously backed up with an inability to communicate and implement political measures," commented Kolarova.
According to her, the request of "We continue the change" to be the opposition is controversial. "An opposition is a party that is not currently in power, but retains its chances of being in the future.
From this perspective "Continuing the change” there is no particular chance of that. If she continues like this, she has no chance of being in the parliament either. Requests for a rematch are an attempt to create some self-confidence in conditions of an electoral catastrophe, Kolarova believes.
