Radan Kanev: PP-DB has no political future - 1

This coalition in its current form has no visible political future. Support is already too low. The trend is extremely clear. The continuation of the same policy, regardless of the resignation of Hristo Ivanov, cannot change anything. We are on the slide and it is well greased, the direction is down. The reason for the election result is also the vanity of PP-DB.

This is what Radan Kanev, who has been re-elected as an MEP on the PP-DB list, commented before the BNR.

"The vanity of wanting to govern alone with 1/4 of the deputies and with the support of a party that is stronger than us, in this case GERB.

It was obvious to everyone that for a party with 60 MPs to claim all the power and support of a party with more than 60 MPs was such a risk to the party itself doing so, and especially to its ministerial victims in the executive, that nowhere to go.

We had to realize what we are dooming these people we send to carry out reforms. First of helplessness to carry out reforms. Second, you put infinitely experienced politicians in the dirty part of the political game, such as Borisov's and Peevski's entourage, at will", Radan Kanev pointed out.

Governing with GERB today is already impossible, the MEP was categorical. And he explained that "any opportunities to work with GERB have been lost to a large extent due to the sentence that the Bulgarian voters passed on us".

If we want to reverse the process, we are already late and we don't have the luxury of time, Kanev was categorical. "What we need to do is for the entire coalition to get out of petty party egotism and look at the needs and legitimate interests of the people who supported us and those who did not."
