The Bulgarian and European elections through the eyes of Angel Dzambazki, who for two terms represented Bulgaria in the European Parliament.
I have had many offers from other parties for the European elections. There are two that are currently implemented, Djambazki told bTV.
He comments that he is a nationalist of an older generation. Dzambazki explained that it is possible to be a patriot without being a Russophile.
„It made me think about the value of consistency in politics. How much is the personal choice worth if you can go back to those you went around and assured yourself that I should vote for you and then turn around and go somewhere else. I say that two of these offers have been implemented at the moment with mandates, that is, they have guaranteed”, Dzambazki added.
According to him, right-wing organizations in Europe are not the same.
„There are different political right organizations in different countries and they cannot be put under a common denominator Le Pen and the front in France, the one in Germany. There are different political formations and they pursue different goals. In fact, however, what brings them together brings us together in alliances, albeit not very stable ones. And our wish is for the European Union to be more of a Europe of fatherlands and less of a Europe of the Federation. Now there is a different reading of the events in Ukraine”, Dzambazki said.
He explained that VMRO may not be in a key position now, as before, but it is definitely not known if this will always be the case.
