Iliyan Vassilev: Borisov's ultimatums - a government within a week - betray nervousness - 1

On Friday, in the conversation with Hristo, I asked him if the three parts of the PP-DB they do not perceive in a comparable way the need for a change of direction and self-critical notes - some say that there is no problem and do not consider failure, others say that there is a need for a radical change - it is not at all excluded that internal tensions will produce hard-to-repair rifts, and for some to create the illusion that they will do better on their own.
Borisov's ultimatums - a government within a week - betray nervousness, but don't be fooled - he is not the one who decides. He wants a quick government - to get him out of the trap in which Peevski put him. ITN are the only possible third parties - Revival and Greatness, as well as BSP are impossible precisely because of Ukraine. But Slavi is also slippery - because his mission as an engineering project is to destroy the PP-DB, and when assembled with BB and DP, he will end up in an anecdotal situation. It's not that Trifonov has scruples about spending all his political capital /for adequate compensation/, but it won't be without problems for BB and DP either.

This is what the energy expert Iliyan Vassilev wrote on his Facebook page. Here are more of his thoughts:

The expert office is the only formula - but even there the fig leaf is too transparent and torn. Borisov's biggest problem - Peevski's takeover of his party - will not be solved by any joint management project - expert or whatever.
It is against this background - it is very important to realize the necessary change in the behavior of PP, DaBG and DSB and some synchronicity and commensurability is so important. But Radan should not be in such a hurry - it is by no means certain that the DSB itself can be the bearer of the new, because for him the first addressee of the change is the DSB. Even in the negation of the election results for the PPDB, there must also be a measure, and this is definitely not the bottom of the representation of the democratic forces. Let's see the results of the DSB within the Reform Bloc since 2017 - with 300 thousand people lost votes, they remained outside the Parliament, and then he resigned. Because movement should produce more creation than tension. We need an understanding of the challenges, not sharp and final judgments.
At the current level of party selfishness, it is by no means out of the question that there will be new elections in the fall. And then, maybe DSB themselves will earn more? Or DaBG or PP?
