With his decree on the basis of Art. 75 of the Constitution, the head of state Rumen Radev convenes the first session of the newly elected 50th National Assembly at 9:00 a.m. on June 19, 2024. This was announced by the press center of the head of state, quoted by Nova TV.
The official oath of the new 240 people's representatives will start the consultation procedure with the president. This also leads to the delivery of the first exploratory mandate to form a government. GERB-SDS, which will receive the mandate first, will today send invitations for talks with the other formations in the new parliament, in order to see what the attitudes are for gathering support.
