Common sense should prevail, a compromise should be reached between the political forces in the National Assembly and a broad coalition should be formed.

This is what the political scientist Atanas Radev recommended to the BNR.

"There is an opportunity to form a government, it is important what the approach will be. Ultimatums cannot be given –" we elect Raya Nazaryan as the Speaker of the National Assembly, otherwise there will be no government", he commented.

And the fact that Nazaryan was not elected in the first vote, according to him, is a "traditional sign in the last few years".

"All the tricks and parliamentary traditions that were not questioned are being used. The point is that hands are wringing again and the same story continues, that dialogue is important. Because if there had been a dialogue, the political parties could have given a press conference yesterday and announced that they are coming up with a common candidate for the chairman of the National Assembly," commented the political scientist.

And added:

"It is intended to delay, drag out and block the president's constitutional duties and the granting of an exploratory mandate – first, second, etc.

Regarding "common sense" in the National Assembly, Radev reminded that there is no way to return, because 30% voter turnout is a fact.

"And it is ridiculous that 121 MPs rule. At the moment, it is necessary to manage a broad coalition with a clear horizon and mandate", said Atanas Radev.

And recommended to politicians that "it should be understood that the political culture has been changing in the last few years":

"We do not have the dominance of one party. The largest is with 68 MPs and you can't wring your hands. 79% do not participate in the elections, and in order to change attitudes, there must be a policy and a concrete vision of what will happen, not to mention that the Eurozone is our priority. But, let's see the budget in the next 2 years", Radev said.

"Borisov has the serious experience of juggling between liberals and conservatives. There is a rival in the person of the second political power. It's an interesting assembly for me – who will eat the other. Let's not miss that the influence of these 2 personalities – Borisov and Peevski, the issue of dominance will begin. Why is a third or fourth party necessary to govern and why a broad coalition? So that the damage to GERD can be reduced", predicts Atanas Radev.
