A new figure from the global affair with the OneCoin pyramid has surrendered to the American authorities, reported Bulgaria ON AIR. This is William Morrow, who pleads guilty to participating in the schemes of Ruzha Ignatova, known as the crypto queen. This is clear from information on the page of the court of the Southern District of New York. He is expected to be sentenced on August 1.
According to the reports of the investigators, which are written about by the American media, Morro is the last one who will be responsible in connection with the crypto scheme associated with Ruzha Ignatova. There are also reports that he was extremely close to Gilbert Armenta, an intimate friend of the globally wanted crypto-queen.
Meanwhile, an interview with her brother, who spent 34 months in prison in the US precisely because of OneCoin, appeared. It is believed that people from all over the world burned in this pyramid - with 4.4 billion dollars.
"At some moments I have been very naive, stupid, and this naivety has made me make the wrong decisions - I bear the responsibility. You wake up one day in something that is not quite the American dream," said Ruzha's brother Konstantin Ignatov.
He shared with the Youtube channel NAYcast about his fears of entering prison. He spent a total of 20 years abroad, mostly in Germany. His US sentence was reduced following a plea deal with authorities in exchange for disclosing the OneCoin scheme. Now lives in Sofia.
"I don't have a Lamborghini, I don't have anything special. I have a card for public transport," added Ignatov.
After the experience and the accumulated bitter experience, Ignatov admits that he made the biggest mistake in his life, which, in his words, he will always carry in his soul.
